A historical date for Camiño Miñoto Ribeiro

The Galician Minister for Culture and Tourism Mr. Román Rodríguez González and the president of the Association of municipalities of Camiño Miñoto Ribeiro Mr. Avelino Luis de Francisco Martínez attended a meeting in the Portuguese town of Castro Leboreiro (Melgaço-Portugal), along with the representatives of the different Galician municipalities which the Miñoto Ribeiro route crosses, the representatives of the Portuguese municipal chambers through which it also runs, like the neighboring city of Braga, and the official Research team of Camiño Miñoto Ribeiro, in order to give the official and final push to the project of the recovery of the Jacobean route Camiño Miñoto Ribeiro.
 
It is important to make a special mention of the work of delimitation of Camiño Miñoto Ribeiro, which was accomplished by a member of the Official Investigation team, J. Lamas Bértolo, expressly commissioned with this task by the president of the Association of municipalities of Camiño Miñoto Ribeiro as the final part of the work, addressing the administrative request by the Ministry of Heritage. During the meeting, the Minister was given an advance of the study of delimitation.
